Three upcoming group plays with jackpots totaling $249 million
The Lotto Max jackpot of $15 million for the May 12 draw was set in error. It should have been $17 million according the rules established by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation. In the previous draw, there were 10 Maxmillions offered and only 3 were won. A total of $7 million should have been carried forward to the next jackpot. The error was most likely made because there were 5 winning Maxmillions tickets. The person setting the next jackpot, mistakenly thought 5 Maxmillions prizes were won. Also, the May 15 jackpot should have been set to $22 million and $27 million for the May 19 draw.
